StatsFlow (Browser History & Analytics Tracker) is a Chrome extension designed to help users visualize and understand their browsing habits. Your privacy is our top priority.
2. Data Collection & Usage
This extension accesses your browser history only locally on your device. The data we process includes:
Visited URLs and page titles (for identification and search)
Visit counts and timestamps (for trend and time analysis)
Domain names (for grouping and category statistics)
3. Local Storage & Zero Data Transmission
All collected data and analysis results are stored and processed strictly locally using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local and IndexedDB APIs.
We do not transmit, upload, or sync any of your personal browsing data to external servers, cloud storage, or any third parties.
4. No Sale or Transfer of Data
In compliance with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies:
We do not sell user data to third parties.
We do not transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the extension's core functionality.
We do not use user data to determine creditworthiness or for any lending purposes.
5. Permissions Explained
To provide its core functionality, StatsFlow requires the following permissions:
history: Required to aggregate and analyze your browsing records for charts.
storage: Used to save your local settings, such as Dark Mode and Blacklist.
favicon: Used to display site icons for better visual identification in the list view.
downloads: Required solely to allow you to export your data as a CSV file.
6. User Control & Data Retention
You have absolute control over your data:
Blacklist: You can exclude specific domains from being tracked or analyzed.
Manual Deletion: You can clear specific records within the extension at any time.
Uninstallation: Removing the extension from Chrome will automatically delete all data and settings associated with StatsFlow from your device.
